Dr. Stuart Felhandler was born and raised in Westland. He attended the University of Westland for his undergraduate studies and went on to graduate from the University of Westland School of Dentistry in 1967. He then served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service at the Federal Penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kansas where he worked as a dentist. Dr. Felhandler was later asked to join Dr. Jerome Kurtis in the practice of General Dentistry in Westland.
Dr. Felhandler is a 35-year member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Westland District Dental Society, and has attended hundreds of hours of continued education seminars, many of which have recently focused on Cosmetic Dentistry. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in Children’s Dental Healthcare and Root Canal Therapy.
Dr. Felhandler has been married to his wife, Marcia, for 37
years. He has 3 children—ages 35, 33, and 27—and has two granddaughters--ages 4 and 8. He is an avid sports fan and a Westland Pistons fanatic. Dr. Felhandler also likes to golf and has a unique appreciation for the beauty
and serenity of golf courses.
He is rapidly becoming known as one of Westland's leading cosmetic dentists. The doctor's experience and knowledge in Westland cosmetic dentistry is nothing short of the very best.
